Designing
A Visual Brand
Oct 2021 – May 2022 (8 months)
A sports technology company, LeagueApps went through a major rebrand in 2019— from a “blue period” into green. The brand received a new logo and some new colors, but not much else.
By 2022, the impact of this was made clear on the website. Old parts of the site looked very different from newer ones, and navigation was a nightmare. For all these reasons, I was tasked with fully defining the LeagueApps visual brand, and bringing it to life in the form of a new marketing website.
Problem
Our visual brand had drifted over the years, resulting in mismatched content and a Frankenstein website.
Solution
Run a series of user tests, lock in a universal visual design system, and showcase it through a new marketing website.
Impact
- Concrete style guide for all designers to follow and adhere to
- New marketing website launched, with huge increase in ease-of-use, navigability, and performance
